Reporting & Policies

We recognize our responsibility to be accountable to all of our partners, which involves regular and open reporting of our social and environmental performance.

Since the 2018 business year, Royal Distribution has been publishing its financial and nonfinancial information on one combined publication: The Royal Distribution Annual Report. The Annual Report contains a combined non-financial statement for Royal Distribution and the Group. The content of the non-financial statement is covered by a separate limited assurance engagement, and the assurance was conducted using the International Standard on Assurance Engagements ISAE 3000 (Revised).

Our reporting covers all brands of the company and our own facilities in all countries where we operate. It also refers at length to the activities of our suppliers – both those with whom RD has a direct contractual relationship (direct supply chain) and those whose contracts are with individual business units, agents or licensees (indirect supply chain). Any variations in scope or boundary, where relevant, are itemized for specific data sets in the sustainability performance data section or annual Green Company Reports which complement our global reporting approach and provide in-depth details of our on-site environmental management. There have been no major changes in our reporting approach compared to the previous year.

From the year 2021, Royal Distribution plans to regularly disclose its progress on set targets in its Sustainability Reports.
