For years, Royal distributions have worked closely with a number of organizations on both a local and global level to actively support and positively impact communities. Our programs are built on three complementary pillars – community involvement, employee engagement, and corporate giving – determined by local cultural, economic, and social factors. Supplementary programs include activities at company headquarters, relief operations, and projects in suppliers’ countries.

Support for refugees
Always mindful of where we can make the most meaningful impact, Royal Distributions has an ongoing involvement in refugee initiatives. Our overall approach to support refugees follows a model based on the following three pillars:
- Employment integration
- Humanitarian aid
- Close collaboration with public authorities, external partners, and volunteers
Global Aid Network
GAiN supports humanitarian aid projects in over 50 crisis areas worldwide and is constantly striving to improve its global logistics network in order to provide help as quickly and efficiently as possible. We regularly support their humanitarian efforts with product donations
SOS Children’s Village
Since its founding in 1949, SOS Children’s Villages has grown into one of the largest non-governmental organizations, dedicated to supporting children without parental care and families at risk around the globe. In response to the needs of displaced refugees, we financially supported the second SOS Children’s Village in Lahore, which opened in October 2017 and offers a safe home for 150 children.
Women Empowerment Program
We are convinced that mixed leadership teams have a competitive advantage and are drivers of business success. Royal Distributions is committed to ensuring equitable representation across all diversity dimensions in leadership positions, which includes enhancing our current focus on gender equality. A prerequisite for increasing the number of women at the highest levels of management is the general promotion of women within the company worldwide at all levels. We have various initiatives in place to guarantee that our succession pipeline is balanced, including mentoring of female talent as well as an equal gender split in our Global and Local High Potential programs.
Trans community support program
Transgender support programs offer people a chance to connect and discuss similar life experiences and challenges. Sometimes, when you are a member of a minority group, it can be helpful to talk to people who will understand those parts of your life without needing an explanation. The transgender support program is a great place to find people who understand you and make you feel less alone. They can serve as resources in a time of crisis or just a place to find a sympathetic ear if you’re having a bad day.
